Japanese-Twisted Slots for the Global Audience
As one of the few Japanese slot developers producing games for international operators, Samurai Studio aimed to increase the accessibility of their slots to a wider audience. They wanted to attract and entertain users from various parts of the world by offering their slot games in multiple languages. They were looking for a reliable localization partner that could provide accurate translations and be an expert in the iGaming industry.
The Process of Localization
All-in Global successfully translated and localized Samurai Studio’s content from English into 16 languages, including Portuguese (both European and Brazilian), Spanish, Norwegian, French, Russian, and Turkish. This extensive range of languages allowed Samurai Studio to engage players worldwide.
Most translation requests were accomplished by All-in Global within one to two weeks, ensuring a swift turnaround and enabling Samurai Studio to meet their production schedules.
So far, around 40,000 words have been translated into 16 languages, with the involvement of 22 professionals in this project.
As a slot provider, Samurai Studio had a glossary that included specific game terms they wanted to keep in English, such as “scatter” and feature names. All-in Global implemented a technical solution that prevented translators from modifying these terms, allowing accurate transposition into the translated text, eliminating the possibility of human error, and ensuring client satisfaction.
