WE KNOW GREAT FOOTBALL CONTENT WHEN WE SEE IT

Why The Guardian and a Barcelona Instagram page caught our attention ahead of the Football Content Awards in Liverpool, while over in Malta, All-in-Global will be busy running a booth and organising 5-a-side and padel tournaments for SiGMA delegates.

If you haven’t already, mark the week of November 13-17 in your calendar.

Over at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, the Football Content Awards 2023 will be taking place on the 16th, where the finest creators in the business will be rewarded for their outstanding efforts in the football content field over the last year or so by walking away with one or more of these prized awards.

And if you work in iGaming (and unless you’ve been living under a rock), you’ll know that it’s also SiGMA week between the 13th and 17th of November.

Speaking of rocks, it will once again take place in Malta, there will be over 800 sponsors and exhibitors present, over 25,000 delegates, 250 speakers, 35+ networking dinners, eight parties and much, much more.

One of those exhibitors is All-In Global, who will have a booth at the exhibition (B1036) as well as organising both an annual football 5-a-side competition and a padel tournament, details of which are below. So keep on reading.

But first up, a quick word on the Football Content Awards.

THE 2023 FOOTBALL CONTENT AWARDS

We know great football content when we see it. After all, our team of expert copywriters based all around the world produces it for our dozens of clients on a daily basis.

Hundreds of candidates have been nominated across such diverse categories as: Best in Social, Best in Video, Best Influencer, Best Media Organisation, Best in Fantasy Football and Best Branded Campaign.

We can’t talk about them all as there are so many of them. But we’ve picked out two that particularly caught our attention and we’re about to tell you why we like them so much.

Good luck to all candidates and we hope you have a great night, whether you win, or not.

BEST MEDIA ORGANISATION – THE GUARDIAN

What they do

The Guardian website provides extensive and exhaustive coverage of ‘The Beautiful Game’, both home and abroad, both men’s and women’s football, going all the way from the dizzy heights of the Premier and Champions League to lower division football, if the story justifies it.

Highlights include a live blog on most days with the best snippets from press conferences, match updates on game days, interactive quizzes and breaking news stories.

Their in-depth interviews with protagonists of the world of football- both household names and lesser-known ones- are hard-hitting, honest and cover a multitude of topics.

There’s a sensible and logical balance between focusing most of their energy on men’s football at the highest level and expanding their content to less high-profile competitions (women, youth football).

What we like about it

It’s your one-stop-shop for expertly written, informative and knowledgeable football content, most of it written, but also aided by video clips for extra colour. It’s easy enough to read without being dumbed down, creative enough without being pretentious: the perfect mix and balance.

A flavour of their content:

“Quite what Chimbonda was expecting on a night of gales and rain in Burscough, where Northwest Counties League Premier Division Skelmersdale ground-share, is unknown. His opposite number, Jimmy Marshall, is a train driver who enjoyed a night of sweary badinage with the former Tottenham defender, while the assistant referee offered constant good humour despite every decision being questioned by Chimbonda, who made his presence known.”

Story about former French World Cup finalist Pascal Chimbonda’s debut as a non-league manager in English football’s ninth tier.

What All-in Global can do for you

All-in Global doesn’t just have football writers. It has a stable of football copywriters based all over the world, specialising in both high-profile and niche areas of football. If your gambling site is focused on the Brazilian market, for example, we’ll find you a writer with a deep knowledge of Brazilian football and the league’s unique features. That could be anything from betting previews of matches, team guides, marketing e-mails highlighting promotions around a particular league, or more colourful blog posts that are just fun to read.

If you want it written in Brazilian Portuguese or any other of the 85+ languages we provide content writing services in, that’s no problem either.

Just head to this page and either fill in your details and content requests under the ‘Get In Touch’ section or click the ‘Chat with us’ tab on the far right to speak to one of our Project Managers directly in real-time. Alternatively, just send an e-mail to salesteam@all-in.global

BEST FOOTBALL CLUB – WOMEN’S FOOTBALL – BARCELONA FEMENI (INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT)

What they do

A Spanish-language Instagram page dedicated solely to Barcelona’s women’s team. Posts include photos and videos of the women’s first team members in action on the training ground and in official matches, plus behind-the-scenes footage from the dressing room, or team bus.

They recently had a media campaign that involved a partnership between the Rolling Stones and Spotify, Barcelona’s main partner and Global Audio Streaming Partner.

To celebrate the Rolling Stones’ first new album of original material since 2005, they included photos of the Stones’ members wearing the iconic Barca shirt and first-team players imitating some of Mick Jagger’s famous dance moves from old music videos.

Supporters of the team are constantly kept up to date with what the players get up to, both on and off the pitch, and their informative yet fun approach has obviously gone down well with fans as followers of the Instagram page recently reached the 5.5 million mark.

What we like about it

Fans of the team who want to keep up to date with all the recent developments can do so in a quick and easy way by following their Instagram page without needing to read lots of written content.

Given it’s their official page and run by the club itself, followers of the page can get access to photos and footage they wouldn’t be able to find elsewhere.

A flavour of their content

Barca players show they have the ‘moves like Jagger’ in a clip where they imitate the Stones’ leading man Mick Jagger and his unique dance moves.

What All-in Global can do for you

We offer multilingual content for iGaming and sports betting social media services that are tailor-made for your unique needs, whether that’s raising awareness, engaging with a new audience or helping your business enter a new market.

No two clients are the same, so you tell us exactly what you’re trying to achieve and we’ll help you get there.

As ever, English is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the languages we can provide these services in. You can use the same channels as above to request your social media content needs.

SIGMA CUP BY ALL-IN GLOBAL

During SiGMA week, make sure to visit our B1036 stand and catch-up with our team to lear more about Language Solutions You Can Bet On. We have some exciting news for you this year that you definitelly don’t want to miss out!

But if you’d rather walk the walk than talk the talk, you can do that, too!

Taking place on November 13 between 9.30 and 16:30 is All-in Global’s annual five-a-side tournament. All SiGMA delegates are welcome to participate in it, either as a team, or as a single player who will be assigned a team.

It’s free to enter and the deadline to register was 1st November but if you email kate@all-in.global URGENTLY we will see if we can fit you in. We are looking at a record number of teams this year!

Our football tournament is a great way of networking, building up a sweat ahead of a post-match beer, showcasing your football skills and providing a chance for you to be part of the winning team and the bragging rights that come with it. There are some things that money just can’t buy!

SIGMA PADEL BY ALL-IN GLOBAL

If smashing a ball so hard into the ground that it actually ends up outside the court is more your thing than smashing one into the bottom corner of a football goal, then our Padel tournament could be right up your street, instead.

The bad news is we’re currently fully booked and have closed our registration for the event after reaching our maximum capacity of 64 players. If you’re one of the lucky ones who signed up nice ad early, you’ll be glad to know that rackets can be borrowed if necessary, while balls will be provided.

The good news is there’s still a chance that a slot could become available if registered players decide to opt out, so keep an eye on this page to see if that’s the case.

If not, you can always come along to Padel Malta at Pembroke and attend just as a spectator.

The tournament is divided into beginner and advanced levels and will run from 10:00 to 17:00 on November 17. Drinks and BBQ will be served during the tournament.

If you’re a fan of padel, watch this space over the next few weeks as we’ll be publishing an article right here explaining some of the game’s terminology and where those terms originate from.

PS: We are also hosting a poker tournament at our stand where the 1st prize is a buy-in worth €550 for the Malta Poker Festival Spring Edition. Email kate@all-in.global to participate in the raffle deciding who gets the 25 seats available.
